Isla of Axholme - a blog about me, my knitting and other woolly things.
Looks like you are having fun, ypur holiday home looks amazing. Love the Callanish Stones, been there several times X
we had an amazing time! We loved everything about the island - the history, scenery, the beaches. Hoping to go again in 2016. I don't think it was your uncle who captained our ferry. I kept an ear open just in case!
What a fab holiday home, I bet you see so many stars there on a clear night. The hat looks good, I love the colour. Fizz's ears made me smile in that photo! Enjoy the rest of your holiday :-)
Hi Alison We had a few clear nights and the stars were really bright. The milky way was visible too. Unfortunately no northern lights though. The hat didn't come off my head the whole holiday. I think Fizz could have done with one on the windy days to protect her ears!
I'm so behind with everyone I'm envying you a holiday you've returned from! Did you knit anything else while you were in that perfect place?
Hi Annie Ive got so many blogs and podcasts to catch up on! i read a few while away but we were on satellite internet so had to go easy! I started and finished Vaila. Its a shawl in DK and managed to get to the for on sock number one for Mr D. It was a pretty productive fortnight!
