I only ever worked on it in the winter months, and it was mostly a project for when I wanted to slump in front of the TV with a glass of wine and not have to think about counting stitches or purling.<br />When I finally finished it, I gave it to the ferrets, it keeps them lovely and warm in the cold weather!littleblackfoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13891484019397458665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4831399869255050776.post-46344818973822378432014-10-12T13:52:01.740+01:002014-10-12T13:52:01.740+01:00I think you have hit the nail on the head! That is not an easy patchwork for a start but hand stitching can be a lovely way to relax. I find that if I keep my knitting or hand work on the table, I am likely to pick it up while watching TV. I have tried joining challenges to finish things too. Mostly I just try to enjoy the process and not worry about the product.Juliann in WAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15895551530087690102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4831399869255050776.post-6639883293504791402014-10-10T07:09:55.963+01:002014-10-10T07:09:55.963+01:00That is a long running project! A cushion cover would have been much more sensible.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12522864946281718246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4831399869255050776.post-75924615188016192832014-10-09T19:51:52.325+01:002014-10-09T19:51:52.325+01:00My mum used to do patchwork like this and I rememb...My mum used to do patchwork like this and I remember making a cushion cover at school. Embarrassed to say that my longest running project is a cross stitch Winnie the Pooh birth sampler that I started when my son was born. He turned 12 last week!! I think I need some motivational tips too xAlisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10007583111181817717noreply@blogger.com
